As a member of the Aviation team, acting design lead and/or Project Manager, oversee the development and production of construction plans and cost estimates for various small, medium, and large sized airport projects. This includes new airfield geometry design, runway rehabilitation, new taxiway design, taxiway rehabilitation, apron/ramp reconstructions, apron new design, and airfield re-striping• Senior Resident Project Representative during construction of multiple airport taxiway and apron reconstruction and new construction projects. Responsibilities and tasks of this role include: Reviewing and responding to material submittals and RFIs, writing daily and weekly project progress reports, developing daily quantities and processing periodic pay requests, managing Quality Acceptance testing efforts, initiating Change Directives and Change Orders based on site changes/additions, on site construction observation, making on site engineering and construction decisions and determinations, and leading weekly construction meetings.• Preparation and delivery of many different project reports including: Engineer\'s Reports, Construction Management Plan, Final Construction Report, Quality Acceptance Test Reports, etc.• Develop technical specifications and contract documents for airport projects• Partake in day-to-day project communications with client as a Client Manager and/or Project manager as well as project team including letters, memos, emails, meetings, conference calls, agendas and meeting minutes, etc.
