Blue Grass Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant-Evaluate and properly characterize waste generated for several locations including Large Quantity Generator-Prepare samples for transport to off-site laboratory. Analyze sample results and profile hazardous waste-Development of waste profiles and manage off-site TSDF profiles for BGCAPP waste streams-Identify and assist with establishment of waste storage and accumulation areas for Large Quantity Generator site-Review environmental permits and provide input as necessary-Develop SOPs for staff operations and interpret DOD, DOT, TSCA, and RCRA regulations-Maintain security clearance in accordance with Unescorted Access Program (UAP)-Prepare environmental reports including, but not limited to, TSCA annual PCB report, Annual Hazardous Waste Report, Waste Minimization, and Tier II-Perform off-site surveillances of TSDF used for disposal of BGCAPP generated wastes-Subcontract Technical Representative for various disposal subcontractors to include budgeting, estimating, and overseeing completion of contracted work-Serve as Lead Waste Engineer for process related hazardous materials, dust/residues, and process safety risks at DoD chemical demilitarization facility.

I have been in the safety and environmental field since 2014 with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Environmental Health Science. I have held various EHS positions, including manager roles, within the pulp and paper industry, automotive manufacturing, and I currently work as a Lead Environmental Waste Engineer/Principal Scientist as a government contractor. My primary interest is to continue gaining experience in the environmental sector while also ensuring the safety of those around me. I have a passion for climate change and environmental sustainability and try to incorporate those interests into volunteer hours and hobbies.
