Experience
Associate Director - Medical Affairs
May 2022 — Present · Memphis, TN, US
This role supports Respiratory indications for both on-label and investigational uses of dupilumab – CRSwNP, asthma, COPD, CSU, peanut allergy, CRSsNP, and ABPA – and the investigational uses of itepekimab (COPD, bronchiectasis, asthma). • I established a network of experts across my territory to support each indication and gain advice on scientific topics of interest. • Collaboration is essential to this role, as it requires cross-functional partnership within Regeneron and across the alliance with our business partner, Sanofi. • All dupilumab launches require cross-functional collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, HEOR, Marketing, Sales, Clinical Development, and Medical Information. I served as the Respiratory FMT lead for the dupilumab CSU launch.• I partner with Research & Development, Clinical Operations, and Medical Operations in managing company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies within my territory, • Success in the field requires a strong, compliant partnership with the Commercial team. Sales Training is one of the best ways to establish the foundation of this relationship. I championed and pioneered a small, respiratory-focused sales training team that trains new Allergy, Allergy/ENT, and Pulmonology sales representatives on currently approved respiratory indications for dupilumab and their respective disease states. • Since the success of the sales training team, the Commercial team has requested that I perform the national trainings for the existing Allergy and Pulmonology sales force on new launches for dupilumab and competitive products. • I train new field medical team members on the mechanism of action of dupilumab, pathophysiology of type II disease, and its impact in the airways, nose, and skin. • During my tenure at Regeneron, I’ve launched dupilumab into pediatric AD, COPD, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Prurigo Nodularis, CSU, and Bullous Pemphigoid landscapes.
