Positive Approach, LLC is an international dementia care training, education, and consulting organization founded by renowned dementia educator, Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA. The organization provides training to healthcare professionals and families, with the goal of helping them grow their dementia related awareness, knowledge, and skill and improve quality of life for people living with dementia. All training programs and products are based on her Positive Approach® to Care philosophy and care partnering techniques. Training options include dementia certification programs for professionals and hands on skill training for family caregivers, community groups and healthcare organizations. Teepa and her team’s mission is to make life better for people living with dementia and the care partners who support them. The first step is learning how we can change our own behavior to improve communication and connection with people living with dementia.
