Brown-Olmstead Associates include, but are not limited to:• Movie premieres for Jane Fonda’s Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (GCAPP) and Turner Broadcasting. • Statewide program for forestry industry “The Sustainable Forest.”• Lobbying projects to establish Peachcare and seatbelt legislation. • Participation in the Center for Civil and Human Rights (CCHR) Stakeholder Group leading to the development of the CCHR. • Coordination of the first fundraiser for the development of the MLK Center. • Helping Ron Clark raise money and awareness and solicit board members for the establishment of Ron Clark Academy. • Coordinating a program to “Light Up the Sky” before the Olympics for Georgia Power. • Managing the public relations campaign for the launch of Chick-fil-A’s cow marketing efforts. • Creating the Atlanta Regional Health Forum. I was an instructor for Evening and Emory for 1 ½ years and taught courses on running businesses as a woman. I managed the Ponce Team for the development of the Old Fourth Ward Park; owned the Saint Laurent/Rive Gauche boutique at Lenox Square for 5 years; owned and managed an in-home chef service company called Traveling Chefs; owned, designed and managed a line of gardening apparel and accessories called Garden Frou Frou; and worked with Grady Healthcare System for 10 years to gain support.
