About Amanda Brennan
This year marks my 15th year in the mortgage industry. It is crazy to think I started out as a summer intern doing short sales in college so long ago! I\'m currently managing a team of 9 post closers and one team lead, all in office, with occasional work from home days, while the rest of our company works remote. It\'s incredible to be a part of an amazing company. I started out working in customer service, a great foundation for any career. Through this, I find working with people and making them happy with whatever services I am providing based on current job task is extremely rewarding and is what has me waking up each morning happy to go to work each day. I have worked through 4 layoffs. First with Bank of America home loan services in 2010, in 2012 with MetLife Home Loans, Wholesale Division and Urban Lending Solutions mortgage servicing division in 2013 and most recently in 2018 but was able to switch departments to stay within the company. I have the most experience with customer service and mortgage (default, retail, wholesale and Business Purpose/Flip). I am happiest when I can see that my job is positively helping the company as a whole. Over the last 5 years I have dove into technology, working directly with engineering to help automate the consumer mortgage, Business Purpose/ flip, and rental loans processes. I\'ve successfully increased production working alongside my post close team by increasing efficiencies and becoming more effective in everyday tasks and working cross-functionally to take on additional tasks without the need of additional staff. Any additions to my team have been from company growth and promotion. I would love to get into marketing. I love promotion, and creative planning. I went to the University of Pittsburgh (main) and earned my BSBA in Marketing. I\'m an event planner/chef at heart.
