About Amanda Barreto Salgueiro
As a project specialist, I support a robust restoration program advancing business\' and non-profits\' access to finance and monitoring frameworks in Africa and Brazil.I hold a honors degree in Global and Environmental Studies, throughout which I carried out field research in the U.S Arctic focusing on Indigenous Knowledge and climate adaptation, funded by the National Science Foundation.I have vast experience in digital media, in particular to highlight underrepresented stories and communities. As a multilingual person and passionate communicator, I was a speaker at the Critical Media Literacy Conference of the Americas 2021 and was invited to share thoughts about Youth\'s engagement with the UN at their Headquarters in New York City in 2019.
