ABOUT AMANDA BADALAMENTI
As a dedicated student leader at the University of Florida, I am passionate about working to curb antisemitism and contributing to programs that foster a supportive environment for all students. Currently, I serve as the Director of Registration & Finance for the Florida Blue Key Speech and Debate Tournament, where I lead efforts to streamline operations and enhance participant experiences. My previous roles, including Assistant Director of Registration and Registration Staffer, have equipped me with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. My commitment to leadership extends beyond the tournament, as I am actively involved in UF Student Government as the Cabinet Director for Disability Affairs. In this role, I work to promote awareness and access for students with disabilities, organizing events such as SG Disability Awareness Month to foster a more accessible campus. Additionally, I take pride in mentoring new student leaders through the First-Year Leadership Experience program, helping them navigate their journey in student government.Selected for the Florida Future Leadership Program, I am focused on professional growth and engagement through workshops tailored to developing leadership skills. As a member of the Disability Resource Center, I advocate for accessible solutions and provide input on new building plans to better serve all students.I also contribute to the University of Florida Hillel as the Emerson Fellow for StandWithUs, where I lead initiatives aimed at educating peers about Israel and facilitating meaningful conversations around topics such as antisemitism.I am eager to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations focused on advocacy, community engagement, and educational initiatives that create lasting positive change.
