About Amanda Azadian
I manage the growth and development of the Physician Innovation Network, a multi-sided platform designed to help physicians provide expertise and clinical validation to technology entrepreneurs eager to improve patient outcomes, reduce physician burnout, and lower healthcare costs: https://innovationmatch.ama-assn.org/ As a senior business analyst at Walgreens, our team brought healthcare strategy from desktop to proof of concept by testing healthcare services and digital technologies that promoted more holistic wellness in the retail pharmacy. Our programs included optical, hearing, dental, labs, urgent care and other services to address the social determinants of health. I collaborate with external partners to pilot new ideas and build bridges inside the organization to promote the development agenda. As a marketing associate at MATTER, I helped design opportunities for entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and community members to collaboratively solve healthcare’s biggest challenges. While attending Wheaton College, I studied kinesiology and international relations, was published in the American College of Sports Medicine for exercise physiology, and launched a co-working space for students interested in entrepreneurship.
