ABOUT AMANDA ALLAN
After two decades at British Airways working across the key communications and PR disciplines of news, crisis, corporate, and international, and specialising in consumer and brand building, I set up my own communications and PR consultancy in December 2020. Over the course of my career I\'ve launched new aircraft, ships, brands and customer experiences, announced multi-billion-pound investment programmes, managed merger communications and centenaries, run PR across international regions, brought partnerships with organisations such as the British Olympic Association to life and managed more crises than I care to remember. I\'ve also delivered long-term social-led campaigns exploring topics around the future, sustainability and leadership. As a consultant I support organisations from across a range of industries and disciplines, including: travel and transport; hospitality; food and beverage; science, innovation and technology; luxury lifestyle and not-for-profit, to name a few. In summary, I help brands to better tell their stories. I am a trusted advisor at CEO and Board level and a confident influencer. Thanks to many years in global roles, I\'m well-versed in working in different international markets. I am also committed to equality and diversity in the workplace and beyond, a mentor on the PR Week/Women in PR scheme, and a qualified executive image coach.
