ABOUT AMAN SOGGI

I am a GPhC-registered pharmacist with experience spanning hospital, primary care, and community pharmacy, with a strong focus on clinical services, antimicrobial stewardship, and pharmacy leadership. My clinical background includes working as a Specialist Antimicrobial Pharmacist within the NHS, where I supported multidisciplinary teams in optimising antimicrobial prescribing, therapeutic drug monitoring, and infection management. I regularly contributed to infection-focused MDTs, guideline development, and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives aimed at improving prescribing practice and patient outcomes. I also delivered education to junior doctors and pharmacists while supporting quality improvement projects related to antimicrobial use and patient safety. Alongside my hospital experience, I have developed strong expertise in medicines optimisation, clinical decision-making, and patient-centred care across community and primary care settings. This has enabled me to apply a holistic approach to patient care while balancing clinical priorities with operational and service delivery needs.I currently work as a Practice Manager at ASDA Pharmacy, where I lead a multidisciplinary pharmacy team and oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of pharmacy services. My role focuses on team leadership, operational performance, and the expansion of clinical services, including NHS services such as Pharmacy First and the development of private healthcare services including weight management programmes.I am particularly passionate about developing pharmacy teams, improving access to healthcare services, and positioning community pharmacy as a key pillar of primary care delivery.
