We will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continually improving Environment, Health & Safety standards across project sites in alignment with Integrated Management System, client requirements, and statutory regulations. The role acts as a key representative for ensuring safe execution of projects, risk reduction, and sustainability initiatives.Key Responsibilities: 1. EHS Policy & Compliance • policies, procedures, and guidelines at site. • Monitor compliance with national safety laws, environmental regulations, and client EHS standards. • Coordinate for audits, inspections, and certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.). Safety Leadership & Culture • Promote safety culture among • Act as EHS representative in client/contractor review meetings. • Ensure subcontractors comply with KEC’s EHS requirements. Risk Assessment & Control • Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA). • Implement preventive and corrective measures for identified hazards. • Ensure work permits (PTW system) are properly followed. Training & Capacity Building • Organize induction training, refresher sessions, and competency assessments for staff and workmen. Incident Management • Lead investigation of near misses, accidents, and unsafe acts/conditions. • Prepare root cause analysis and ensure closure of corrective & preventive actions. • Maintain accident/incident records and report to management. Emergency Preparedness • Develop site emergency response plan, conduct fire & rescue drills. Environmental Management • Monitor waste management, water/air quality, noise, and environmental protection measures. • Drive sustainability initiatives like energy conservation, resource optimization, and green practices. Reporting & Documentation • Maintain EHS MIS, dashboards, and monthly reports for management review. • Document best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
