   As an intern at Tata Steel, I am actively contributing to a high-impact project titled “Reestablish Descaler Pressure for Automotive Grades to Minimize Boat Scale and Low Descaling Pressure” under the guidance of Ms. Arthita Dey, Senior Quality Manager, LD#3 TSCR. This role is focused on optimizing descaler pressure across multiple grades to improve surface quality and meet automotive-grade standards.Key Responsibilities and Achievements: • Data Analysis & Visualization: Analyzing and tracking deviations between SOP and process chart limits using advanced Excel dashboards. • Process Optimization: Identifying and addressing correlations between pressure inconsistencies and defects such as boat scale. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with operations, quality assurance, and process engineering teams to validate insights and drive data-driven decisions. • Operational Impact: Contributing to the optimization of descaler pressure parameters, ensuring better surface quality and reducing manufacturing defects.This internship is sharpening my skills in data-driven decision-making, supply chain optimization, and process improvement — critical competencies for a future career in operations and supply chain management.
