About Aman Bhardwaj

I’m an engineering leader with 20+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at companies like Meta, Microsoft, and Amazon. My work spans foundational platforms for distributed applications from early investments in Azure Service Fabric to modern Kubernetes-based systems enabling reliable, scalable services across cloud and edge environments.At Microsoft, I contributed to building distributed platforms, runtimes, and programming models with Service Fabric, and later helped incubate and scale cloud-native platforms such as Radius and Azure Arc for Kubernetes. I was also a founding contributor to Dapr, an open-source runtime that simplifies building microservices across cloud and edge. Currently at Meta, I lead engineering efforts in core infrastructure focused on distributed container scheduling and orchestration systems.I bring both deep technical expertise and leadership experience from designing large-scale distributed systems to hiring and mentoring high-performing teams. I’m particularly interested in solving complex infrastructure challenges, driving platform strategy, and building systems that operate reliably at scale.
