A management professional and entrepreneur, Aman Batra has led and managed operations in a wide variety of corporate environments in the US and India. Aman is Managing Director of Maynards India, a global leader in industrial asset auctions, liquidation, and appraisal services. His passion for hospitality, traveling, and all things outdoors led him to an entrepreneurial journey with a unique and one of its kind vacation rental homes venture called V are Family in the year 2014. His desire to provide guests with the perfect holiday drives him to be involved in every step of the selection process for vacation homes. V are Family currently has a portfolio of luxury homes in its exclusive management portfolio, spread across the cities of Kasauli, Nainital, Mussoorie, Tarudhan Valley, and Goa.In the late 90s, Aman was part of the Internet and Technology group of PaineWebber Incorporated, a leading investment bank in New York, where he witnessed the evolution of the e-commerce (dot com) business model in the West. Aman returned to India in early to be part of the growing Investment banking business in India.He was amongst the first batch of recruits at Ernst & Young\'s (E&Y) corporate finance team under Mr. Rajiv Memani (CEO & Country managing partner). At E&Y, he primarily focused on private equity, valuations, and business consulting verticals. After E&Y, Aman was the Founding Partner at Plus Capital, an investment holding company with interests in technology, real estate development, and construction verticals. Aman\'s association with Plus was across various ventures in both entrepreneurial and executive capacities.After Plus Capital, Aman was with the Impact Group, a progressive group of well-diversified companies in the Housing, Automotive, and Financing industry. At Impact, Aman managed a team across 3 locations in North India and had two primary managerial roles - Head Strategic Initiatives & Chief Operating Officer, Impact Senior Living Estates (ISLE).Mr. Batra earned a Bachelor of Science with honours (summa cum laude) in Entrepreneurship, Economics, and Finance from Babson College in 1997 and has a Diploma in Advanced Economics from the London School of Economics. He is an alumnus of the Modern School (Vasant Vihar), New Delhi, and the Lawrence School Sanawar (Kasauli), Himachal Pradesh. Aman has also served as Vice President of the Old Sanawarian Society.
