Initiate, investigate, and implement significant new formulations, process improvements, and cost savings projects2. The commercialization of new products and follow sound scientific principles to meet project goals3. Takes active role in high risk projects to help mitigate risks, remove barriers, help define contingency plans and provide technical support/mentorship to sales team4. Complete technical assessments for evaluation of new product / process opportunities5. Provides technical expertise to solve problems on ingredients, formulations, processing, sensory and consumer testing. Maintain up to date knowledge of ingredients and technology.6. Responsible for enhancing the sales performance through regular face-to-face interaction with customers7. Accountable for developing customer base by creating awareness on Product application and use of appropriate substitutes. Responsible for increasing sales revenue and volume by identifying new opportunities9. Conduct trials and product sampling for customers thereby enhancing sales leads10. Assist the sales team during pre-sale interaction and product education and conduct regular training programs11. Understand and interpret customer requirements/feedback and suggest product variants and improvements12. Co-ordinate with New Product Development team and consistently be updated about new product13.
