Working in the Transport Asset Management space liaising closely with our road network operations & delivery team and road maintenance contractor.As the Asset Engineer, I have been given the opportunity which covers below responsibilities:• Development of the annual pavement resurfacing programme – this includes review of trigger models based on various factors such as pavement condition, age etc, desktop validation and analysis via JunoViewer software, on-site inspections, financial management etc. • Development of the annual pavement maintenance programme – this includes review of jobs on RAMM covering mill & fill works, pavement stabilization, dig-outs etc, on-field audit of programmed works to finalize programme, contractor liaison, financial management etc.• Liaison – strong collaboration with delivery team and road maintenance contractor to keep track of progress of physical works including resurfacing, mill & fills etc. • Data & quality management – updating RAMM on a regular basis including mill & fill jobs etc. to track physical works progress and promote quality management by uploading QA data. This also includes updating various transport assets such as fences, railings etc. • HPMV Permits – assisting the senior road engineer by completing bridge assessments to finalize permits for HPMVs. • HPMV mapping tool – liaising with Waka Kotahi for the development of national mapping tool which will display HPMV routes across Aotearoa New Zealand.
