Account - Canada Post- Facility Maintenance & Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and dock systems, ensuring all equipment functions smoothly and supports operational efficiency- Dock System Management: Managing and maintaining dock doors, levelers, and loading dock equipment to ensure smooth and efficient material handling and shipping processes. Conducting regular inspections and performing repairs to minimize downtime and improve productivity- Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine inspections on all facility systems, including the dock areas, to identify potential issues and carry out preventive maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with safety regulations- Safety & Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations. Conducting safety checks for both building infrastructure and dock operations to maintain a secure environment- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Quickly addressing service requests and emergencies related to building systems or dock equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs to keep operations running efficiently- Vendor Management: Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for specialized services, such as dock system maintenance, and ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications and safety standards- Energy Management: Monitoring energy consumption and identifying opportunities for improvement in both building systems and dock operations, contributing to sustainability and cost-saving efforts- Collaboration with Teams: Working closely with Canada Post’s operational teams and facilities management to ensure that all building and dock systems are optimized for daily operations, providing a smooth and effective service experience.
