ABOUT AMAL H.
With strong experience in non-profits, coalition management, and collective impact efforts, I work to support human-centered design efforts to collaborate on more equitable programs, policies and systems to support children and families. I hold a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on Health Policy and Management, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics. I am passionate about creating more responsive early childhood systems and programs - and more specifically, I care deeply about reproductive justice and birth equity, as a critical period of time to ensuring healthy outcomes for children and families. Outside of my full-time work, I am lucky to support as families as a birth doula in upstate NY and am working to finish my certification through Mama Glow.In my full-time work, as a Program Director, I leverage my skills in coalition management, strategic communications, and nonprofit operations to support the alignment and integration of across teams and partners. I am passionate about creating and sustaining collaborative partnerships that foster collective impact and system change for the benefit of young children and their families.
