About Amal Biskin
I’m a writer and editor passionate about storytelling, publishing, and arts production. Currently, I work as a Production Intern at the Onassis Foundation, supporting in the production of award-winning podcast Live From Mount Olympus. I am also part of the Writers House Intern Program, where I am learning about the publishing field from a team of agents and mentors. My background spans editorial work, research, and education in literary and nonprofit settings.I recently graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in English with honors, where I served as Senior Editor at The New Journal and as a Writing Partner at the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning, mentoring students in writing and research. My academic work focused on twentieth-century American poetry, along with a concentration in creative writing through which I produced a collection of short stories.I’m especially interested in creative projects that bridge art and social impact. I\'m seeking opportunities in publishing, editorial, and arts nonprofits.
