ABOUT AMAJ RAHIMI MIDANI

Through my childhood, I lived in India for about ten years and pursuing my Masters and Ph.D, I attended the Pukyong National University in Busan, South Korea. Because of visiting and living in different countries, I can proudly read, write and speak nearly 9 languages. Further highlights of my life: • Established projects with IAEA, FAO and UNDP for vulnerable and indigenous communities during pandemic. • Received financial resources through agreements with private investors in England, China and US.• Successfully conducted 19 different Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects for more than 20 countries;• Published more than 25 papers, 3 books, 8 guidelines and reviewed more than 50 papers for different journals such as environmental modelling; • Developed multiple materials for IAEA Nuclear Application (NA) and Technical Cooperation (TC);• Guided 4 Ph.D. students in development of their Ph.D. thesis; • Project management and support: I have worked as the coordinator of Overseas Fisheries Cooperation Center (OFCC) which is an organization under Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). At OFCC, I was in charge of managing and implementing projects. One of my responsibilities was as a trainer, lecturing on different fisheries capacity building programs and efficient communication with the member states. I have worked on projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America as part of Official Development Assistance (ODA) program to combat global issues such as hunger, poverty, climate change and efficient use of natural resources. • With the IAEA I have participated as an expert in a mission. • I worked as a Teaching Assistant while pursuing my Ph.D. I taught Bachelor’s Degree classes in Bioeconomics, Statistics and Natural Resources and Management and Decision Making.If you have any questions that I can help with, please feel free to reach out here on LinkedIn or via email(c••••••@poseidon-ai.com) I look forward to speaking with you!
