About Alexander M.
Hi, I\'m a chemical cannabis analyst. I work at Perkin Elmer currently as an FAS as their cannabis GC specialist. I am a dual citizen with Poland and thus an EU citizen. Currently I live in the Seattle area in Washington. My education is in biochemistry (chemistry emphasis) with a background of cannabis analysis, toxicology, and environmental chemistry. I excel in instrument, computer, and electronic repair and maintenance. I have been involved with cannabis analytical work which utilizes mass spectrometers (GC, LC, and ICP) and have experience with PCR, spectroscopy, and cytometry equipment. I am experienced in usage/repair/maintenance of GC instruments, usage/maintenance of ICP-MS instruments/peripherals, and usage of instruments. Other skills include method development, method validation, building LIMS systems, and Agilent MassHunter suite. I have helped bring MA Analytics from a start up lab to a fully operational ISO 17025 certified independent cannabis testing lab licensed and operating in Nevada. My aspirations for the future are to own my own laboratory and to push the edge of what people consider industry. We have great technologies to solve clean water access, global warming, homelessness, poverty, starvation, and so many more, the problem is that no one has found effective ways to bring these solutions to market. I dream of a day that we will fill our cars using home produced diesel from algae vats, clean water from sound systems, complete nutrition from a broom closet, cheap and effective medication available to those who need it, and a more human habitable world.
