I create tools that make people productive, inspired, and in the flow.At Microsoft, I work on the Visual Studio Editor, eliminating bottlenecks for millions of developers. I optimize performance, refine LLM prompts, improve UX. In my work I take data-driven approach: design experiments, analyze data, iterate.Before Microsoft acquired my startup Code Connect, I experienced the full product lifecycle: MVP, pitching, marketing, sales, and balancing features against maintenance. Developers worldwide paid for it because it fundamentally changed how they understood their code: The tool we built tightened the feedback loop between writing code and seeing results.The focus on productivity crystallized earlier at Schlumberger, where I worked in a collaborative environment with geologists who used software I\'d deployed minutes earlier. There, I earned two patents reimagining how geologists visualize three-dimensional data.On the side, I run a 3D printing business. As much as I enjoy building software, I also enjoy making physical things within tangible manufacturing constraints.

   I work on the Visual Studio Editor team, building productivity features and experiences that help developers write, understand and navigate codebases at scale. My designs are extensible and are data driven. I create A/B experiments and analyze data to increase our understanding of user experience. I used a series of A/B experiment to refine a prompt for a Copilot feature, evaluating customer outcomes and token count.I coordinate a team of security champs, and I consult on security and UX craftsmanship. I design systems that allow previously synchronous operations (and related public APIs) to work asynchronously, for example IntelliSense completion, lightbulb, file IO.
