ABOUT AMAAN QURESHI
With over 8 years of experience in the charity and public sectors, supporting at CEO and Chair level, I am currently working as a driven Business Manager to the Chair, at the NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB). I have a strong practical and academic background in development, having obtained an MSc in International Development from the University of Manchester\'s Global Development Institute, and going on to manage aid and development programmes in Europe, Africa and Asia. I am motivated by the mission of improving outcomes (particularly in the context of health and wellbeing) for people and communities, and by the vision of helping to create a more equitable and sustainable world.As a Business Manager supporting the Chair of NHS BOB ICB, I support the delivery of strategic and operational projects and initiatives, working closely with a diversity senior leaders, stakeholders, and partners across from across the health and care system, as well as government, local government and the third sector. I apply my skills in project management, communication, analysis, and problem-solving to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the ICB\'s priorities and objectives. I also contribute to the development and improvement of the ICB\'s processes, policies, and governance, helping ensure compliance and quality standards. I am proud to be part of a team that is driving innovation and transformation in healthcare, and that is making a positive difference in people\'s lives. I also take a specific interest in technology, with a passion in learning more about the cutting-edge of scientific advancements – for example, keeping my finger on the pulse of emerging technologies such as AI, including its applications on optimising workflows.
