ABOUT ALYTA NORMAN
I’m a goalkeeper coach with a deep passion for developing talent and raising the standard of goalkeeping at every level I work with. My coaching journey began with junior football clubs, where I first discovered my love for helping young goalkeepers grow in confidence and ability.After graduating university, I became part of the coaching team at Cheltenham Town Women’s FC in the FA Women’s National League, working with senior players in a high-performance environment. I then joined Paulton Rovers JPL, where I grew the goalkeeper programme from just two players to a thriving group of 18–20. My focus there was on building structure, improving individual skills, and creating a positive, demanding training culture.More recently, I’ve been involved in delivering sessions through the FA’s Future Lionesses Goalkeeper Centre, coaching young goalkeepers from across the Gloucestershire area in line with the FA’s national development model.I’m always looking to improve my coaching knowledge and bring fresh ideas to my sessions. My aim is simple: to inspire and support the next generation of goalkeepers to be their best—technically, mentally, and personally.
