Analyzed the antioxidant capacities of herbal extracts including green and hibiscus teas using various testing methods. Learned how to make reagents for and perform a DPPH assay and Folin Ciocalteu assay for antioxidant capacity. As well as the linoleic acid assay to test for lipid peroxidation. I quantified the data I measured in Microsoft Excel to find antioxidant capacity equivalents.Observed changes in breast cancer cell proliferation after herbal extracts were applied to the cell plates.
