ABOUT ALYSSA WILES
When I was five years old, my preschool teacher told my mother I have a traveler\'s soul and would want to explore the world. Almost 20 years later, I can tell you that she was absolutely right. I have a passion for immersing myself in new cultures, communicating with people and storytelling. That\'s how I landed in public relations.As a graduate student studying mass communication at the University of Florida, I spent the Fall 2024 semester living and learning in New York City. I chose to spend this time in one of the most important media and communication hubs in the world to dive into PR and NYC\'s energetic culture. With a bachelor\'s degree in PR, I have experience with campaigns, social media, branding, events, writing and project management. At UF, I took on several roles as a communicator with my first-generation scholarship organization (MFOS). My extracurriculars aided in developing my communication skills with an array of people and transformed me into an adaptable leader with excellent problem-solving skills. I pursued a minor in Spanish to be able to communicate with more people. Let\'s connect as I aspire to be the best version of myself in a career that I love!
