As Assistant Principal at KIPP Indy Unite Elementary, I am honored to serve as a key member of our school’s leadership team, supporting our mission to provide a high-quality, equitable education for all students. Instructional Leadership: Coaching and developing teachers through regular observations, feedback, and professional development to ensure rigorous, inclusive instruction that meets the diverse needs of our students. School Culture: Fostering a positive, affirming, and joyful school environment by upholding school-wide expectations, leading restorative practices, and partnering with families to support student success. Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilizing academic and behavioral data to inform instructional strategies, interventions, and school-wide initiatives aimed at closing achievement gaps and promoting equity. Operational Excellence: Collaborating with the school leader and operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with school policies.Returning to my hometown of Indianapolis to contribute to the community that shaped me is both a personal and professional milestone.
