ABOUT PRECIOUS AMANTE

I am an optimistic and dedicated learner who wish to make a difference even in the simplest ways. I graduated with Food and Nutrition Management at Saskatchewan Polytechnic but I have already achieved a Bachelor\'s degree in Financial Management. I am currently working as a Food Service Supervisor under Saskatchewan Health Authority, where I’ve gained experience in supervising and scheduling staff as well as improved my interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. I have also enhanced my ability to work independently and make effective decisions. I used to work as a full-time food server at Tong\'s Wok restaurant, where I\'ve mastered a variety of abilities such as improved customer service, better communication skills, and establishing rapport with my coworkers. During my time at the university in the Philippines, I was given the chance to lead various socio-civic activities with the aim of improving society\'s value. I also participated actively in various school activities that range from finance, business, marketing, public and university relations, and socio-civic which shows that I am flexible in whatever job that I need to do. I\'m willing to learn more about the food industry because cooking is my hobby and I love working with my hands. From the exposure that I obtained from various student organizations, I have acquired the sense of compassion for the community and the passion to serve. I\'m also a perfectionist and would always do my best to achieve my goals. I plan to pursue a successful career in the field of Food Service and to work professionally in hospitals and care homes where I can hone my leadership capabilities, maximize my potential, and utilize my chosen field of academic education.
