About Alyssa Limjuco
I’m a film and sociology student in Syracuse University’s Renée Crown Honors Program, with a focus on documentary filmmaking and editing. I’ve been creating independent films since high school, and my work has been recognized in international student competitions. At Syracuse, I serve as Vice President of the Club Boxing Team, Vice President of Communication for the Panhellenic Council, Communications Manager for the Orange Reels Film Festival, and a Peer Advisor in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. I’m also a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society and the Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.I’m particularly drawn to documentary storytelling and editing. I’m passionate about capturing real people’s lived experiences and connecting social issues to their personal narratives.
