About Alyssa Ufer

I graduated from Texas A&M in May of 2013 with a degree in International Marketing. Right after graduating I completed an internship at Nordstrom\'s Corporate Offices that moved into graduating from the Merchant in Training program with Nordstrom Merchandising Group. After the completion of the MIT program I received a permanant position with the Studio 121/ Bridge Coats buying team as the Assistant Replenishment Buyer where I grew my knowledge of the Nordstrom Best customer. I\'ve now had multiple roles within the Nordstrom buying office, allowing myself to expand upon my knowledge of the retail industry and multiple customer segments. Now having had roles in the planning and buying sides of the business, I am excited to take on my new Associate Buyer role in Topman/ Young Customer.I am a passionate person with experience in leadership, company case studies, selling, budgeting, and more. I am interested in one day becoming a Buyer or Buy Planner with a company who has a wonderful internal culture as well as a company that pushes me to grow. Nordstrom has shown that they offer all of those to me, and I am very lucky to have found such a wonderful company to work for.
