About Alyssa Tucker
Finding my way in the world of U.S-MENA relations, business, and cultural exchange. After graduating with my B.A. in International Studies (with a double minor in Arabic and Music) from American University in 2021, I spent 6 months representing the United States as a Youth Ambassador at the USA Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. Afterwards, I worked for 1.5 years at the US-UAE Business Council doing event planning, sector research, and member services for a portfolio of companies across the bilateral healthcare, life sciences, and education sectors in the US and the United Arab Emirates. In May 2025, I graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with my Master of Arts in Arab Studies, after defending and publishing my thesis entitled “Jews of the Barzakh: Finding Jewish Music in Bahrain.”
