Legal lead for all healthcare (pharmacy, clinical services, market access, and purchasing) operations regarding new project and business line vetting and implementation. • Review, comment to and negotiate complex commercial agreements including those relating to growth and business initiatives, joint ventures, partnerships, and other development relationships (PBM Agreements, Retail Pharmacy Agreements, Category Management (retail), Pharmacy Purchasing, and similar agreements). Thorough understanding of AKS, HIPAA, DEA, FDA, and Board of Pharmacy rules.• Participate in and, where appropriate, lead committees and working groups of the Legal department and the enterprise as assigned from time-to-time. Active Member of Pharmacy Initiatives Committee, active member of Vendor Oversight Committee and Data Protection Committee.• Provide strategic direction and legal guidance for all patient facing digital innovation to ensure compliance with a variety of regulations.• Spearheaded and created inaugural, enterprise-wide contracting process and system that supports a cross-functional review and approval of a contract from intake to execution. Oversee all contracting efforts (~ contracts a year) and the contracting team for the Rite Aid enterprise. • Acted as Chief Privacy Officer for Health Dialog Services Corporation, a subsidiary for Rite Aid, from 20••••22.• Work with the General Counsel on board governance and corporate secretary functions. • Strategized, implemented and led all legal/contracting remediation workflow efforts (over contractual touchpoints) for Rite Aid\'s 2023 FTC Consent Order and 2024 CIA Order. Resulting in a 100% successful remediation score for the 2025 IRO audit year.
