About Alyssa M Mitchell
My name is Alyssa M Mitchell and I am a double Carnegie Mellon University graduate of the Bachelor of Architecture program and Master of Science in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management program where I was a GEM Fellow. At Carnegie Mellon, I was involved in the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students, SPIRIT Booth, and the Black and Latino Business Association. My involvement in the greater campus community has cultivated a desire to engage the intersection of these interests including architecture, business, and multicultural communities. I currently reside in Seattle, Washington. I am involved in the AIA Seattle Diversity Roundtable, NOMANW, and LeaderFlow. I am currently working towards professional architectural licensure. I am passionate about higher education, affordable housing, and cultural architecture that has a beneficial impact on communities.
