ABOUT ALYSSA HAMILL
After several years in the corporate world, I transitioned into mental health counseling to align my career with my passion for advocacy, empowerment, and meaningful connection. Now a full-time Resident in Counseling, I serve clients across Virginia as a remote clinician. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and frequently integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my work. My experience includes supporting college students, neurodivergent individuals, the LGBTQ+ community, military members and spouses, and those navigating grief, anxiety, and identity exploration. My background in corporate leadership has strengthened my ability to help clients with life transitions, career challenges, and personal growth.
