ABOUT ALYSSA GIRGIS
Alyssa is chemical engineer and energy analyst with experience in advising government bodies and utilities on projects supporting the adoption of renewable energy technologies through the development and generation of modelling tools, reports and various data visualizations. She is currently leading the development of GHG reducing cost- benefit projects as well as low-carbon hydrogen production, transportation and storage pathways from a process modelling perspective. Alyssa brings a rich experience in conducting technological design and assessment as well as strong data analysis skills. Over the years, Alyssa has led investigative projects in carbon capture, utilization and sequestration technologies in cement industries, electrification, and low-carbon steel production design. She has co-authored analytical reports on solar, cement decarbonization and steel in collaboration with multi-disciplinary expertise. Alyssa has supported Canadian provincial and American state projects identifying potential rebate opportunities and energy saving measures for energy efficiency campaigns in commercial and industrial sectors.
