About Alyssa Gendreau
I am a highly skilled Registered Behavioral Technician versed in training individuals in basic ABA methods. With a dynamic approach to applied behavior analysis (ABA), I am passionate about empowering children on the autism spectrum to achieve their full potential. Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in de-escalation techniques, early intervention, and clinical best practices. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I created digital tools for ABA assessments to ensure uninterrupted client support. Beyond my professional roles, I am an active member of the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts and an advocate for collaborative learning within the ABA community.I am also deeply committed to philanthropy and community engagement. I served as the Policy Council Chair for the EASTCONN Head Start and Early Head Start programs in eastern Connecticut and led Zeta Phi Omega, a philanthropic sorority that raised funds for various charities in New Hampshire. In my free time, I pursue my passion for music. I have sung with multiple chorales, performed with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and had the honor of being directed by Howard Shore, the composer of the Lord of the Rings score. My dedication to service, mentorship, and artistic expression reflects my commitment to creating meaningful connections and uplifting others in all aspects of life.
