ABOUT ALYSSA FORMISANO

As an honors marketing and Italian student at Penn State University, I am passionate about creating impactful brand experiences and exploring global consumer behavior. I am currently studying abroad in Milan, where I am learning about luxury marketing and branding, and enhancing my intercultural communication skills.Last summer, I interned at Trahanas Hospitality Group, a leading company in the hospitality industry. There, I conducted consumer research, planned themed events, and curated content for social media platforms. I contributed to increasing customer engagement, retention, and loyalty across various subsidiary companies.I have a strong foundation in marketing theory and practice, with coursework in consumer behavior, fashion and luxury brands, international marketing, and more. I am proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and market research tools like SPSS and MRI Simmons Database. I also participate in extracurricular activities that enrich my learning and leadership skills, such as the Schreyer Honors College, the American Marketing Association, Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, and Business in Cosmetics Club.I am committed to fostering inclusivity, innovation, and ethical business practices in the marketing field.
