About Alyssa Donovan
Hi, my name is Alyssa Donovan. I am currently working in the non-profit sector. I graduated from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy.(April 2023) I am most passionate about:(1) the implementation of trauma-informed frameworks and improving the patient care experience within healthcare,(2) sexual violence and domestic abuse prevention and survivor advocacy,(3) firearm injury prevention,(4) employing transformative justice frameworks to address harm,(5) AI governance and technology regulation, and (6) the integration and expansion of trauma-informed mental health resources within communities. I am driven to use my leadership skills to cultivate a safe and collaborative environment, in which individuals are happy to use their strengths to contribute to a common goal. In my free time, you can find me at a dance studio or writing.
