About Alyssa Beth Sharkey

I teach classes on global health and health equity at Princeton University\'s School of Public and International Affairs. I am also doing consultancy work. Previously I worked at UNICEF New York as a Senior Health Specialist in Implementation Research and Delivery Science. A major focus of my work there was supporting the global Equity Reference Group for Immunisation (ERG). Between 2016 and 2017, worked as the Maternal and Child Health Specialist and Acting Regional Health Advisor for UNICEF\'s Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA). Between 20••••16 I worked as a Health Specialist in Monitoring and Evaluation, and Knowledge Management at UNICEF\'s New York office. I have expertise as a health policy analyst, program officer, and policy researcher within a variety of academic, research and non-governmental settings both internationally and in the United States. My MHS and PhD degrees are from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; my MSc(Med) degree is from the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Cape Town, South Africa.
