As Operations Coordinator I support the day-to-day operations with a strong focus on volunteer support and development, working with various functions to ensure we have the right administrative and project management support. In this role, I also support internal and external communications, accounting and event management. In addition to my role as Operations Coordinator, I have been appointed as the RCE Youth Coordinator for Scotland in partnership with Learning for Sustainability Scotland (LfSS). In this role, I will coordinate cooperatives to harness the transformative potential of Learning for Sustainability to support a sustainable world: where people and communities value and are engaged with the natural environment; societies are inclusive and equitable; and a vibrant economy contributes to flourishing ecosystems and social justice. RCE Scotland’s vision is for Learning for Sustainability to infuse the whole of Scottish society, building our capacity to contribute to sustainability – locally, nationally and globally. As an RCE Youth Coordinator, I will serve for a period of two years, with the possibility of serving for longer.
