About Alyson Keene
As an Executive Advisor in Healthcare finance, I leveraged 30+ years of analytic and management consulting experience to help clients navigate process and technology challenges. Technology has come so far that it is starting to fix its own problems. so, unless there is a challenging cost accounting healthcare opportunity, I am trading in my computer (sort of) for Mitre saws, shovels, sticky notes, vision boards, prayer meetings and Board meetings. Four years ago, I joined a vision team that saw a big need, that was too ugly to talk about, which made funding even more unlikely - but we also knew, we had no choice - we had to find a way because simply there were/are NO safe homes for CSEC boys in the Southeast. Fast-forward, this year as an Executive Board Member, I am honored and humbled to be part of the God\'s plan in rescuing His precious, yet most vulnerable people. The King\'s Heart is dedicated to providing a safe harbor home, especially for young boys (10-17), who have been sexually trafficked (CSEC), providing trauma recovery through love, faith and hope as we continue education to spot the trafficking in our neighborhood. Though The King\'s Heart may be in its beginning stages, when compared to 4 years ago where silence ruled regarding this evil; this year the movie industry, Congress, Interpol and an NFL and Heisman Trophy Winner takes on this cause! That is why I am truly excited to see how God will turn these ashes to beauty, even mine. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, an adventurer, and a lifelong learner who is always seeking opportunities to make a life-giving impact on those I meet. I truly believe we all have a unique purpose in elevating those we come in contact with, and that no trail is ever wasted for His Kingdom.
