About Alyson Honsa

With over 15 years of experience in various education settings, Aly Honsa is dedicated to leading systemic change toward educational justice. She began her career in Philadelphia where she worked for local nonprofits, served as a classroom teacher, and led operational work at the School District of Philadelphia\'s central office. Aly relocated to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and work as a research assistant, studying organizational change in school systems. She is now entering her 5th school year proudly serving as the Director of Operations at Impact Public Schools. She holds a Master\'s in Educational Policy, Organizations, and Leadership from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Education from Bryn Mawr College.

   Updated the operational excellence walkthrough tool to better align with goals and priorities and led monthly operational excellence walkthroughs to identify areas of strength and growth for each school operations team. Led key compliance priorities and data analysis, including Consolidated Program Review, improvements in Skyward/CEDARS data accuracy, and ongoing reporting to OSPI, the Commission, and SAO for various programs. Redesigned key operational systems, including building the new student enrollment process, updating processes and cleaning all data for multilingual learning, and overseeing improved health systems.
