ABOUT ALYSHA LOND

Leaving school, I didn\'t like the idea of the College/University route. I liked the idea of earning whilst you\'re learning and being in employment. I started the Traineeship programme with Avant Skills Academy in 2020. A four-week programme getting yourself ready for the working world, which involves interview techniques, money management, and learning more about your skills, strengths, and weaknesses.After that, I moved on to a work experience as an estate agent and gained an apprenticeship with them and I studied customer service. Being the estate agent, I had my clients, applicants, and houses, I loved helping and meeting people find their dream homes. Months passed, I passed my customer service gaining a distinction and I now work for Avant Skills Academy doing reception and administration. I am the face of the company and usually the first person you see when visiting the Grimsby centre. I am now moving more on to marketing the organisation, including social media, and attending events such as schools and colleges for young adults, adults, and employers. I am a product of the system so by going to events I share my experience of being an apprentice at Avant Skills Academy. I have also just started my Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship with Avant which is helping me to develop my skills and knowledge in the marketing world!
