ABOUT ALY PROUDFOOT
I love adventure, not only in the sense of travel but \"what unthought-of solutions will this problem bring,\"\"how can we meet this unique need when there seems to be no obvious answer,\" and \"what can I do for this individual who seems stuck and help them move forward in an organization with seemingly no opportunities.\" Human Resources snuck up on me when I was thrown into the management world, discovering that 80-90 % of my daily management work was HR-related. One of our professors said,\"If you love people, HR is not for you.\" I get that conflict and solving people\'s issues is heavy. But just like raising kids, it can be not only challenging but rewarding. In my career, I discovered a passion for helping individuals overcome obstacles to their dream careers, come alongside people through difficult times, and help them succeed in their roles. It brings me the greatest joy to see someone break free from limiting obstacles and run full speed to their dreams. The average person will spend hours at work over a lifetime. I want to be a part of people\'s journeys and contribute to hours of their lives that are fulfilling! I often describe a career in HR as a bridge between an organization and its people. Experience in business operations provided me with a valuable insight that an organization\'s success interprets to economic and employee success. Simply, we get paid and able to grow as far as the company we are committed to prospers, gains a good reputation and expands. The organization and its employees are interconnected. I don\'t believe that employees must come before organization or organization before employees. Only when they stand equally and together for the common goal and look for each other\'s interests only then do they both succeed. I love getting to know people and their career journeys. Send me a message and say hi! I always welcome new people into my life and love new experiences!
