About Aly Atchley
I taught elementary education for sixteen years, and during that time, I became a highly effective classroom teacher. Some of my duties included helping my students with personal skills, preparing all learning areas, teaching them how to think creatively, making research-based decisions about their work, and being a good listener. These are all essential skills needed when working with students. I began a new chapter in my educational career two years ago. I am excited to be the Library Media Specialist at Byars Dowdy Elementary. I am so grateful that I get to experience this thrilling adventure! I enjoy reading and photography in my spare time. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. I am blessed beyond measure! Life is good!
