I have built my career in the submetering industry by focusing on what matters most to clients: accurate metering, reliable data, and strong cost recovery. With experience spanning sales, metering operations, billing, collections, revenue assurance, and financial analysis, I bring a full-lifecycle perspective to how buildings generate, measure, and recover utility costs.As Director of Revenue Assurance at Metergy Solutions, I lead initiatives that strengthen billing accuracy and recovery performance across electricity, water, thermal, and gas services in more than 50 Canadian jurisdictions. My work centers on ensuring that meters are properly installed, mapped, and validated; meter data is accurate and complete; and client bulk bills are recovered correctly through robust submetering processes.A core part of my mandate is to safeguard revenue by reducing data inconsistencies, improving meter-to-suite mapping, enhancing bill calculation logic, and addressing consumption anomalies before they impact clients. This includes conducting regular audits on meter data, rates, unit counts, and building configurations—ensuring regulatory compliance and preventing revenue loss.I collaborate closely with operational teams, finance, and IT to refine billing workflows, improve meter data management practices, and implement system enhancements that create reliable, end-to-end processes. I’ve supported major integrations with ERP and billing platforms, streamlined data flows, and resolved issues affecting billing timeliness and accuracy. I also develop training programs to upskill teams on revenue assurance best practices and meter data analytics.My passion lies in building strong, transparent processes that protect both clients and the business - by making sure every meter, every reading, and every bill reflects true, defendable consumption.
