About Allan Wick

Allan has a widely varied background that allows him to be a valuable asset on any software team. He has been developing software since 1990 and has transitioned through several different technology roles from development to project management to running teams of developers onshore and offshore. He has also taught programming at the tech school as well as college level giving him a different perspective from a teaching/mentoring level.His experience includes object modeling and design methodologies, project management and requirements gathering. He also has successfully employed agile practices including continuous integration and test driven development as well as implementing the SCRUM framework as a development process.Most recently, Allan has been working on web based applications using ReactJS on the front end along with Nodejs and/or GO microservices. He has also worked with open source frameworks for DevOps including Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
