For the Evaluation Office at UNICEF HQ, I Iead the global evaluation of UNICEF’s efforts on and around teacher development and accountability for learning outcomes for all children. The evaluation focuses on three priority clusters: teacher supply; teacher capabilities and qualifications; and accountability for learning outcomes.As part of the assignment, I also lead the evaluation of the Bangladesh country office education programme, which not only has components on teacher development but also more widely on formal and non-formal education, skills development and systems strengthening.

I have 10+ years of experience in conducting evaluation of large-scale projects as well as providing research services and technical support for organisations in the education and development sectors. I strongly believe in the importance of adopting evidence-based and data-driven approaches in devising strategies and programme planning.My work and research are mainly in the realm of education policy, innovation, and programme and curriculum development.
