ABOUT ALVIN VILLAROSA
Hello! My name is Alvin, and I am an aspiring physician researcher and community advocate who recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Science Management with a concentration in neuroscience. 🧠 My interest lie in advancing my knowledge in healthcare, medicine, and research and their interconnections with industrial management, financing, and organization. Realizing the deepening roots of systemic actions onto individual and community health, I hope to be at the forefront of bridging healthcare management-related gaps. I am also interested in mental health and neurodiversity outreach, alongside community health work for underrepresented communities in STEM, medicine, and higher education. During my gap year, I am working as an Emergency Department Scribe and continuing research to pilot study and hopefully publish a children’s book addressing immigration mental health—an ode to my first-generation immigrant experience! Outside my academics and extracurriculars, I love to dance, play volleyball and other sports! I would love to chat and connect over science, business, community building—almost anything!
